My mother used to offer all love and affection to all her sons/laws and daughters/laws and their childrens as well all the time. The year started with less happiness as No special celebration could be done on 1 st Jan’10 besides regular worship by maa and me at home. Got several calls of seasons greeting by Mama ji, Mami ji, Bhabhi Munna Bhaiya, Munni Di, Chunni Di, Pampam Di, Chamcham Di, Sanjay Babu , Gautam Babu, Manoj Babu, Laljee Babu, Golu, Chotu, Shanu, Annam, Simran, Sonam. My mother used to manage some special dishes for me to be prepared fastly as I had to go to office on time. From office I called maa on mobiles several times and collected informations of wishes maa used to have on her mobiles. Evening of 1 st Jan maa used to wait for my arrival with Chamcham Di and Simran with some gifts and sweets for the occasion as in office we met with auditing. I with maa had a light dinner at home and wished for seasons. As cold and fog was in full swing and mother had a regular problem in the same circumastances. In next week I got the information of death of Bhola Dada at Purainia from Shishir Bhaiya over the mobile and the same I conveyed to Maa , she felt sad and started Barjani for 10 days. Fooding and refreshment suffered a lot in this period of extreme cold season. Cham Di with Simran used to come often and entertain Maa but she
felt very uneasy with the skin problem and the situations prevailed at home. I used to lessen some pain and distress my Maa faced. In Holi some thing could be favorable and normalcy returned back.
In March My maa used to feel better and engaged with her normal life, Chunni Didi from
Gaya came at
Patna for consulting Physician Dr. Ajit Kumar Mishra, Maa also used be under treatment of the same Physician. My mother and Chunni Didi both had consulted the Dr. In first week of April Maa got a little wound at her thy but I taken it casually so maa used to go to Gaya with Chunni Didi for offering Puja
there. But at
Gaya she had a severe pain and managed to come back to
Patna with Manoj Babu from his Indica Car. In painful and puzzled condition we used to contact to a Gyne Surgeon Dr. Rashmi Prasad wife of Dr. P.K.Sinha , North S.K Puri Road nearby Chamcham Didi residence. Dr. prescribed an urgent operation stating “Abcess Synus” , so on 17 April she got operated the same sinus in operation theatre with anesthesia
at evening in puzzled and un bearable condition in presence of Sanjay Ji and other fellows. Consequently Maa used to stayed with Simran and used to have dressings of operated wound daily at the doctors OT in hands of Renu and Santra alternatively. Maa feels easy with Santra some times calls her as Narangi .On the other hand she on routine used to have I.V injection of Amicacin 500mg and
Traxol 500
twice daily at home after dressings. The painful condition continued for more than one month. In between Munni Di with Laljee Bhai sahib used to come at
Patna and looked in to seriousness maa had. Fooding in proper care was served in better hospitality by Chamcham Di. Maa could manage to have gossips with land lord Aditya, his mother, victory and Nabya there and could feel a little bit better but not satisfactory I also feel. In time to time Chunnu Di and Dipendra Babu(Sister and in law of Sanjay ji) oftenly comes to look into Maa and used to talk to Maa for her post -operation condition. Sometimes Manohar Ji and Pinki ji also with their sister to look into Maa and remained for hours. Maa looked into Chunni Di and Manoj Bhai Saheb, Mama Ji and Mami to come to Patna to look her condition but unfortunately they could not come at that time due to some unavoidable reasons with them. Maa also asked for Munna Bhaiya from time to time whether he comes in the closing or not? I used to answer accordingly he reaches or not reaches at Patna.
After more than one month when recovery got slow we were prescribed to have consult with Physician i.e Dr. Ajit Mishra to control Blood Sugar level and met him also at the same night. Dr. Mishra gave a satisfactory response and added medicines like Glinase MF (double dose), Glimiperide 1mg , and Myoprol XL 25mg besides Anti-biotics like cefpodoxime, cefadroxil and cefaxime and other BP medicines like Amlodepine 5mg and Myoprol XL 25mg. In this period Maa used to have regular check up of Blood sugar in Gitanjali Patho Lab, North S.K Puri Road. After 2nd month of operation healing could be seen. Dr. Rashmi Prasad herself appreciated the dare maa used to maintain in her heal up and suggested some enrich diat.
In last of june we also found maa better than before as maa used to have a morning walk with me or Simran or herself alone, some times she used to bring some packets of Kurkure, Lays, Fochka, Bhelpuri, Toffies etc to Simran. Continued Heal up of wound helped us to think for come back to home at BC Road. On 16
th of July Sanjay Ji requested maa to stay there and celebrate his Birth day at Hotel Varun Vihar, Boring Road
The next morning of 18th July we on request of one of my friend Kamal came back to home as Kamal had to take one room for his guest who had to attend party at Kamal’s house. Maa with all enthusiasm entered the house at 8 AM and I managed comfortable bed in the room of maa as she had to take precautions after the operation as suggested by Dr. Rashmi. At the same night Chunni Di came here with Golu and Chotu, so Chamcham Di with Simran also accompanied at home. Finally Maa decided myself with Simran,Golu and Chotu to attend the party at Kamal’s house. In rainy days maa used to stay at home to have early recovery of health in between Chamcham Di with Simran used to come and entertain maa with some favourable dishes like Curry, Besan ki Sabji, Paneer Ki Sabji, Achar and dry Namkin packets etc. In the month of Aug maa continued to feel well as she herself managed to return to daily routine which was lost in April. Maa used to prepare favourable dishes for me and looked after me a lot. What I could done is unknown to me. Maa used to talk with all over the mobile and personally with all in touch to her.Pandit ji, care taker of Micky Anand Buildcon always used to come to maa and remained concerned with maa showing ownness. Maa used to provide all love and affection to me from all aspects of a MAA. I used to be in all time contact even if I am in office with maa and remained concerned of all pains and distress she felt. Maa used to wait for me whenever I was late in office especially in closing and often she asked me for reason of late if occurs.
On 5 th of Sep’10 Simran called maa nani and me to celebrate teachers day hence we went there and Simran used to celebrate Teachers day with lovely dishes for Maa Nani and me, gifted me Dove Perfume on this occasion first sprayed to Maa usually Simran supposed to be. Late evening we came back to home after taking dishes of the night there. I with Maa entered the house in refreshment.
The next bad days starts in the morning of 6th Sep’10 at nearby 4.40 am when Maa felt badly on floor in her bedroom when she was about to go for morning toilet. Maa was badly crying and weeping as she got a severe upper thy injury on left side. Maa came to me at the same time and was crying of un bearable pain. I took maa in her room and used to massage with cold oil Navratan tel for an hour but in no relief I thought there have gone something wrong in injury. When clocked 6am I immediately informed to Sanjay Ji and Chamcham Di who replied to come after dropping Simran for School at 7.15am. Then they reached at home and met maa who still suffering with severe pain even after continued massage with oil. Then on suggestion of Sanjay ji I called on a doctor of Kurji Hospital Dr. Tanweer and asked for the same, he suggested me to bring her immediately to Kurji for further check up in view of chance for fracture. We (Me, Sanjay ji and Chamcham Di) then brought maa to Kurji with the help of Indica Car hired immediately by Sanjay Ji. Maa could reach to Parking floor via lift with help of Sanjay Ji. We finally reached to Kurji in panic and medical treatment started with the Injection of Voveran and X-Ray done in Emergency. Dr. Tanweer was there and monitored maa properly. Mobiles of Pampam Di, Chunni Di and Munni Di continued to pass minute to minute stage of treatment in hospital. Maa still had a severe pain. We met Dr. Shahnawaz
in Ortho with immediate X-ray , Dr. came to maa and replied that she got a severe muscle crack of fall therefore pain will continued till 15 to 20 days and no fracture was detected. Dr. alerted Maa on bed rest and prescribed inj of Voveran twice daily for 3-5 days and Oral medicines of acidity was given to maa. Ice pack massage was prescribed in special. We on the suggestion of Doctor brought back maa to home and started looking to maa in proper care. First two days maa remained in acute pain and distress even after continued injection of Voveran twice daily. But after some days maa felt a little better but not satisfactory. I used to Ice packing massage daily 3 to five times as directed by the doctor. After a few days Pampam Di with Gautam Ji , Sonam and Shanu came to
Patna to look after Maa. Pampam Di remained here for one week. She gave Maa a better hospitality, proper care in medication, toilet and overall gossiping for which Maa needed a lot at that time. Sonam and Shanu also helped a lot to their Maa Nani for toilet and gave entertainment to Maa from their childish innocence. Maa too felt highly entertained and enjoyed the moments with them. Munna Bhaiya came to Patna Merck office on 30 th september in the closing of Sep'10 and i used to brief My Mother's condition to him. I also told him to come there but he refused to come by saing that he had some urgent works and had no time in view of Ayodhya's Verdict to be issued on the day. As soon i entered in the house Maa keenly asked about Munna Bhaiya, i replied that he has went back to Gaya. She did not reply but replied in inner feelings for him.
